The food was very standard. My wife's chili was likely Hormel. Her soft pretzel seemed like the box of frozen pretzels you can get at most grocery stores. My hot apple cider tasted like the packets of powder mix, which was very disappointing because it was October in Western NC so I expected real apple cider. The best item was my egg salad sandwich, but even it wasn't anything out of the ordinary.
Maybe the ice cream is nice in the summer, but on a cool, fall day, it fails as a lunch location.April 23, 2017
